CB1300 A Memory That Still Lives On

แม้วันนี้รถมอเตอร์ไซค์ยุคใหม่จะพัฒนาไปไกล ทั้งเบา ทั้งแรง ทั้งขี่ง่ายอย่างเหลือเชื่อ
แต่สำหรับผม… Honda CB1300 ยังคงมีอะไรบางอย่างที่ตราตรึงอยู่ในหัวใจเสมอ

ผมโตมากับรถรุ่นนี้
มันคือรถที่พาผมเปิดโลกการขี่
เมื่อกว่า 20 กว่าปีก่อนกับ 1992 CB1000 Project Bigone คันแรกในชีวิต ที่พาผมเข้าโลก 2ล้อ

ทุกครั้งที่ได้กลับมาคร่อม CB1300 มันพาผมย้อนกลับไปในวันวาน…
เสียงเครื่อง เสียงท่อ ฟีลลิ่งน้ำหนัก ความนิ่ง ความแน่น มันคือ “ซาวด์ของความทรงจำ”

ถึงแม้รถยุคใหม่จะสบายกว่าก็จริง
แต่คาแรกเตอร์ของ CB1300 กลับให้ความรู้สึกอีกแบบ—
แบบที่คุณจะเข้าใจ… ก็ต่อเมื่อได้ขี่เอง

วันนี้ ถ้าถามผมว่า อยากมีรุ่นไหนที่อยากมีไว้ในครอบครอง ไว้ขี่เรื่อยไป
คำตอบมี2รุ่น : Honda CB1300 กับ Yamaha SR400
สองรุ่นที่ผมยังตามหา และอยากเก็บไว้แบบ “เดิมที่สุด”

CB1300 ขอแค่ท่อคอรุ้ง กับกระจกกลมเดิม ๆ ก็พอ
ส่วน SR400… ขอสักคันเดิม ๆ ใส่ SuperTrapp สักใบ เท่านั้นก็พอใจแล้ว

เพราะรถบางคัน… ไม่ใช่แค่ “ขี่ดี”
แต่มันคือ “เรื่องราว” ที่เราอยากขี่ซ้ำไปเรื่อยๆ

Even though modern motorcycles today are lighter, faster, and unbelievably easy to ride,
for me… the Honda CB1300 still holds something special—something that never fades from the heart.

I grew up with this bike.
It was the machine that opened the door to my riding journey.
More than 20 years ago, the 1992 CB1000 Project Big One was my very first bike—
the one that brought me into the world of two wheels.

Every time I get back on a CB1300, it takes me straight back to those early days…
The engine sound, the exhaust tone, the weighty feel, the stability—it’s the sound of memories.

Yes, new bikes may be more comfortable.
But the CB1300 gives off a totally different vibe—
one you can only truly understand… once you’ve ridden it yourself.

If you asked me what bikes I’d want to keep and ride forever,
there are just two: the Honda CB1300 and the Yamaha SR400.
Two timeless machines I’m still searching for—hoping to find in their most original condition.

For the CB1300, all I want is a rainbow header and those classic round mirrors.
And for the SR400… just a stock setup with a SuperTrapp exhaust would be perfect.

Because some bikes… aren’t just “great to ride.”
They’re stories—ones we want to ride through again and again, for the rest of our lives.
