ปรัชญาการพัฒนายางของ Bridgestone Battlax

เพราะเมื่อเราลดลมยาง
หน้าสัมผัสยาง (Contact Patch) จะเพิ่มขึ้นทันที

แต่ในความเป็นจริง…

Bridgestone Battlax tires are developed by first focusing on tire construction. Only after the structure is finalized is the compound tuned to match each specific riding purpose. The goal is to ensure the tire remains stable and resists deformation in every riding dimension—whether under heavy braking, deep sustained lean angles, or hard acceleration out of corners.

”I used to believe that “lower tire pressure equals better feel.”
In reality, this is a misconception.

So why do many riders—including my past self—feel more confident when lowering tire pressure?

When tire pressure is reduced:
The contact patch increases immediately, creating a false sense of grip and confidence at first.

Tire turn-in becomes slower, as the tire profile is no longer operating as designed
Steering and overall control become heavier without the rider realizing it
The tire structure is more likely to deform under heavy loads
Tire life is significantly reduced, especially during high-speed or track use
Tire feel drops off noticeably once temperatures rise too high
Why Tire Pressure Should Never Be Overlooked
Tires are the only component connecting your motorcycle to the ground, from 0 km/h all the way to over 300 km/h. That alone makes tire pressure one of the most critical factors in riding performance and safety.
