The Biggest Challenge of This Trip… Isn’t the Distance or the Cold. It’s the Altitude and Thin Air.

It’s not just about who has the most endurance. It’s about how well your body can adapt to the environment.

Dizziness, slower thinking, and delayed reactions have started to creep in. Riding a motorcycle used to feel effortless, but with freezing temperatures and decreasing oxygen levels, everything has become unbelievably more difficult.

Sometimes, even making a simple turn in a tight space—something that would normally be easy—suddenly feels like a real challenge.

The cold leaves my hands and feet numb, almost completely without sensation. My brain feels like it’s processing everything more slowly, and every decision requires much more concentration than usual.

And all of this… is happening at just 3,000 meters above sea level.

Yet our destination is still much higher.

Our goal is to reach the “Roof of the World” on the Tibetan Plateau, at elevations above 5,000 meters, where temperatures can drop below freezing.

The further we go, the more I realize that sometimes the biggest challenge isn’t the motorcycle or our riding skills. It’s the limits of our own bodies.

Once in a lifetime… we have to make this happen.

Just talking about it gives me goosebumps!
