เป็นความรู้สึกที่แปลกใหม่มากครับ PGnumberONE !!!

เป็นความรู้สึกที่แปลกใหม่มากครับ ทั้งที่ผมขี่มอเตอร์ไซค์มาทั้งชีวิต รถแรงระดับ 200 แรงม้าก็เคยขี่มาแล้ว แต่บอกเลยว่าความสนุกของรถคันนี้มันให้อารมณ์ที่แตกต่างออกไปจริงๆ
จากมอเตอร์ไซค์คันเล็กๆ เครื่องยนต์เดิม 115cc ที่มีแรงม้าแค่ประมาณ 8 แรงม้า วันนี้เราเอามันมาทำใหม่จนกลายเป็น 232cc และตอนนี้วัดแรงม้าออกมาได้ถึง 34 แรงม้าแล้วครับ!
ที่สำคัญคือตัวรถมันมีน้ำหนักแค่ 100 กิโลกรัมนิดๆ เท่านั้นเอง พอเอาแรงม้าขนาดนี้มาอยู่ในรถที่ทั้งเล็กและเบา มันเลยกลายเป็นคาแรคเตอร์การขับขี่ที่สนุกไปอีกแบบเลยครับ
มันไม่ใช่ความสนุกแบบรถ Superbike 200 แรงม้า แต่มันเป็นความสนุกจากรถเล็กๆ ที่แรงเกินตัว อัตราเร่งจัดจ้าน น้ำหนักเบา ขี่แล้วรู้สึกสนุกทุกครั้งที่เปิดคันเร่ง
และที่เห็นอยู่นี่ยังไม่ใช่ร่างสมบูรณ์นะครับ เพราะตอนนี้เรายังเก็บรายละเอียดกันไม่เสร็จ ยังมีอีกหลายอย่างที่ต้องปรับให้เข้ากับเครื่องยนต์ลูกใหม่ ซึ่งผมเชื่อว่าถ้าทุกอย่างลงตัว แรงม้าน่าจะขยับขึ้นไปได้มากกว่านี้อีก
บนพื้นฐานของ Yamaha PG-1 คันเล็กๆ คันนี้ ผมว่าถ้าทำทุกอย่างจนจบสมบูรณ์ มันจะกลายเป็นรถอีกคันที่ขี่สนุกมากๆ แน่นอนครับ
บางทีความสนุกของมอเตอร์ไซค์ ก็ไม่ได้ขึ้นอยู่กับว่ามันต้องมีแรงม้าหลักร้อยเสมอไป แต่อยู่ที่ว่าแรงม้าที่มีอยู่ พอมาอยู่ในรถคันนั้นแล้ว มันสร้างรอยยิ้มให้เราได้มากแค่ไหน
เพราะอากาศหัวแถวมันสดชื่น….

It’s a very different feeling, and a completely new experience for me. I’ve been riding motorcycles all my life and have even ridden bikes producing 200 horsepower, but I can honestly say that the fun this little machine delivers is something entirely different.

Starting life as a small motorcycle with a standard 115cc engine producing just around 8 horsepower, we’ve transformed it into a 232cc machine. And now, it’s putting out an impressive 34 horsepower on the dyno!

What makes it even more interesting is that the bike weighs just a little over 100 kg. Put that much power into such a small, lightweight package, and you get a riding character that is fun in a completely different way.

It’s not the kind of excitement you get from a 200-horsepower Superbike. Instead, it’s the thrill of a small bike with performance far beyond its size — sharp acceleration, lightweight handling, and a big smile every time you twist the throttle.

And what you see here is still not the finished product. We’re still working through the details, with quite a few things left to fine-tune to suit the new engine. I believe that once everything is properly dialled in, there’s still room to push the horsepower even higher.

Built on the foundation of this little Yamaha PG-1, I’m convinced that once the entire project is completed, it’s going to be one seriously fun motorcycle to ride.

Sometimes, the fun of riding a motorcycle isn’t about having triple-digit horsepower. It’s about how much joy and how many smiles the available power can deliver when it’s put into the right bike.
