Many people often ask me, What did you study?

หลายคนมักถามผมว่า “เรียนจบอะไรมา?”
ผมก็มักจะตอบตรง ๆ ว่า “ผมจบ ปวช. บัญชีครับ” ซึ่งไม่ได้เกี่ยวข้องกับสายยานยนต์เลย
แต่สิ่งที่ผมมีมาตลอดคือ ความชื่นชอบในเครื่องยนต์ — ไม่ว่าจะเป็นรถยนต์หรือมอเตอร์ไซค์
ย้อนกลับไปเมื่อกว่า 20 ปีที่แล้ว ผมมักจะไปเดินร้านหนังสือดอกหญ้า และซีเอ็ดบุ๊ค เพื่อซื้อหนังสือเกี่ยวกับเครื่องยนต์สันดาปภายใน ทุกเล่มที่มีให้อ่าน (สมัยนั้นมีให้อ่านเป็นสิบเล่มเลย) และที่สำคัญคือ… ผมอ่านจบทุกเล่ม เพราะคุณพ่อเคยสอนผมว่า
“คนเราถนัดไม่เหมือนกัน แม้จะเป็นเรื่องเดียวกันก็ตาม
มุมมอง วิธีอธิบาย และความเข้าใจของแต่ละคนย่อมแตกต่าง”
ผมจึงเลือกที่จะอ่านหนังสือทุกเล่ม เพื่อเก็บรายละเอียดจากมุมมองที่หลากหลายของนักเขียนแต่ละคน แล้วนำมาประกอบกับประสบการณ์จริงในช่วงเวลานั้น ซึ่งผมเองก็มักได้คลุกคลีอยู่กับการประกอบรถยนต์และมอเตอร์ไซค์อยู่เสมอ
เมื่อได้ ลงมือทำจริง ควบคู่กับการอ่าน มันทำให้ภาพต่าง ๆ ชัดเจนขึ้นมาก — นั่นแหละครับ คือ พื้นฐานสำคัญ ที่ผมนำมาใช้ในการทำคอนเทนต์และรีวิวทุกวันนี้
ช่วงหนึ่งปีที่ผ่านมา ผมยังมีโอกาสได้ไปเข้าอบรม Ducati Technician Specialist Training ที่โรงงาน Ducati ถึง 2 คอร์ส (แต่ละคอร์สใช้เวลาหลายวัน)
สิ่งที่ทำให้ผมประทับใจคือการที่ Ducati ใช้แนวคิดและเครื่องยนต์แบบเดียวกับรถแข่ง และยังมีระบบเซอร์วิสที่คิดเหมือนทีมแข่ง
ผมได้เรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่ ๆ เพิ่มขึ้นเยอะมาก รายละเอียดบางอย่าง แม้ผมจะมีประสบการณ์กับยานยนต์ มา 20 ปี แต่ก็ยังรู้สึกว่า “ไม่เคยเจอแบบที่ไหนมาก่อนเลย”
นั่นแหละครับ คือเหตุผลที่ผมเปิด “Ducati Bangkhae”
การขายรถอาจดูเป็นเป้าหมายหลักในสายตาคนทั่วไป
แต่สำหรับผม… เป้าหมายหลักคือ
“การได้เข้าถึงข้อมูล ความรู้ และมาตรฐานที่ถูกต้องจากบริษัทที่ทำทีมแข่งรถจริง ๆ
แล้วนำความรู้นั้นมาเล่าให้ทุกคนได้ฟังต่อ เพื่อให้คนได้เข้าใจ…..”

Many people often ask me, “What did you study?”
And I usually answer straightforwardly, “I graduated with a vocational certificate in accounting,” — which has nothing to do with the automotive field.
But one thing I’ve always had is a passion for engines — whether cars or motorcycles.
If we go back more than 20 years, I used to frequent bookstores like Dokya and SE-ED to buy books on internal combustion engines. Back then, there were dozens of books available, and the important thing is... I read every single one of them. That’s because my father once taught me:
“Everyone has different strengths — even when it comes to the same subject.
Perspectives, explanations, and understanding will vary from person to person.”
So, I chose to read every book I could get my hands on, to gather insights from different authors' viewpoints. I combined that with hands-on experience during that time — I was often involved in assembling and working on cars and motorcycles.
When reading goes hand-in-hand with real-world practice, everything becomes much clearer. And that, right there, is the fundamental knowledge I still rely on today when creating content and doing reviews.
Over the past year, I also had the opportunity to attend two Ducati Technician Specialist Training courses at the Ducati factory — each lasting several days.
What impressed me most was how Ducati applies the same concepts and engine technologies used in racing bikes, and how their service systems are designed with a racing team mindset.
I learned so many new things — details that, even after 20 years of experience in the automotive world, I felt like I had never encountered before.
And that’s exactly why I decided to open “Ducati Bangkhae.”
To most people, selling motorcycles may seem like the primary goal.
But for me… the real goal is:
“To gain access to accurate knowledge, insights, and standards from a company that actually runs a racing team —
and to share that knowledge with others, so people can truly understand.”
