รีวิวขี่ Yamaha PG-1 ทริป กรุงเทพฯ - เชียงใหม่ - กรุงเทพฯ
Day 1 : กรุงเทพฯ - พิษณุโลก
ตอนแรกคิดเหมือนกันว่า รถเครื่องยนต์ 115 ซีซี ที่เดินทางด้วยความเร็วไม่เกิน 100 กม./ชม. จะทำให้รู้สึกเบื่อหรือเหนื่อยหรือเปล่า แต่พอได้ขี่จริง ผมกลับค้นพบว่าตัวเองไม่ได้ชอบมอเตอร์ไซค์เพราะ “ความเร็ว” เท่านั้น
แต่กลับมีความสุขกับการได้เปิดคันเร่งสุดปลอก ฟังเสียงเครื่องยนต์ทำงานเต็มที่ และสนุกกับจังหวะของการเดินทางมากกว่า
การเดินทางหลายร้อยกิโลเมตรครั้งนี้ กลับเพลินกว่าที่คิดมาก แม้จะไม่ได้ใช้ความเร็วสูง เสียงของ Yamaha PG-1 ทั้ง 9 คัน ที่วิ่งเรียงกันไปตลอดเส้นทาง กลายเป็นเหมือนเสียงบรรเลงที่สร้างอารมณ์บางอย่างให้กับการเดินทาง มันเป็นฟีลที่อธิบายยาก แต่เป็นความสนุกของการขี่มอเตอร์ไซค์ท่องเที่ยวแบบเรียบง่าย ที่ PG-1 ให้ได้ชัดเจนมาก
หลายคนคงทราบดีว่า เครื่องยนต์พื้นฐานของรุ่นนี้มาจาก Yamaha Finn จุดเด่นคือความทนทาน ประหยัดน้ำมัน และค่าดูแลรักษาที่ไม่แพง
ทริปนี้ผมลองเปิดคันเร่งแทบตลอดทาง เติมน้ำมันเต็มถังแล้ววิ่งยาวร่วม 100 กิโลเมตรก่อนแวะปั๊ม อัตราสิ้นเปลืองยังอยู่ประมาณ 40 กม./ลิตร ทั้งที่ใช้งานแบบโหดพอสมควร ถ้าใช้งานทั่วไปในชีวิตประจำวัน น่าจะประหยัดได้มากกว่านี้อีก
เรื่องท่านั่งขี่ ถือว่าเป็นอีกจุดที่ชอบ ตัวรถให้ฟีลคล้ายมอเตอร์ไซค์แนว Utility/Trail ขาหย่อนลงด้านล่าง แฮนด์กว้างและค่อนข้างสูง ทำให้ตำแหน่งการขี่ผ่อนคลาย ขี่ไกลแล้วไม่เมื่อยง่าย
ส่วนช่วงล่าง แม้จะเป็นรถที่มาพร้อมยางกึ่งลุย แต่ทริปนี้ใช้งานบนถนนดำ 100% ก็ยังถือว่าขี่สบาย ช่วงยุบของโช้คมีระยะค่อนข้างเยอะ ช่วยซับแรงสะเทือนจากสภาพถนนบ้านเราได้ดี ทำให้ขี่ทางไกลแล้วไม่เหนื่อยมาก
โดยรวมหลังจากวันแรก ถือว่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งรุ่นที่ขี่แล้ว “เพลิน” เกินคาดมาก เหมาะทั้งใช้งานทั่วไปในเมือง และออกทริปเดินทางไกลแบบชิล ๆ
ตอนนี้จบทริปวันแรกที่พิษณุโลกเรียบร้อย
วันที่2 จะขึ้นเชียงใหม่ และวันที่สามจะยิงยาวกลับกรุงเทพฯ เดี๋ยวจะมาเล่าต่อว่าทริปนี้ PG-1 จะพาไปได้สุดแค่ไหน…

Yamaha PG-1 Touring Review: Bangkok – Chiang Mai – Bangkok
Day 1 : Bangkok – Phitsanulok
At first, I honestly wondered whether riding a 115cc motorcycle at speeds below 100 km/h for such a long journey would become tiring or boring.
But once I actually started riding, I realized something important — I don’t love motorcycles because of “speed” alone.
What truly makes me happy is being able to hold the throttle wide open, hear the engine working at its limit, and simply enjoy the rhythm of the journey itself.
This several-hundred-kilometer ride turned out to be far more enjoyable than I expected. Even without high speeds, the sound of all nine Yamaha PG-1s riding together throughout the route created a kind of atmosphere that’s difficult to explain. It felt almost like background music for the journey — a simple but deeply enjoyable style of motorcycle touring that the PG-1 delivers surprisingly well.
Many people probably already know that the engine platform comes from the Yamaha Finn. Its strengths are durability, fuel efficiency, and low maintenance costs.
For this trip, I rode with the throttle open almost the entire way. After filling the tank, I could comfortably ride nearly 100 kilometers before stopping for fuel, and fuel consumption still averaged around 40 km/L despite fairly aggressive riding. Under normal daily use, it would likely achieve even better efficiency.
As for the riding position, that became another highlight for me.
The bike gives off a Utility/Trail-style riding feel, with a relaxed lower-leg position, wide handlebars, and a fairly upright handlebar height. The overall ergonomics feel comfortable and natural, making long-distance riding surprisingly relaxing.
Regarding the suspension, even though the bike comes with semi-dual-purpose tires, this trip was ridden 100% on paved roads — and it was still very comfortable. The suspension has relatively long travel, which helps absorb bumps and rough road conditions common in Thailand very well. It definitely reduces fatigue during long rides.
Overall, after the first day, the PG-1 turned out to be much more enjoyable than expected.
It feels perfectly suited for both everyday urban use and relaxed long-distance touring.
For now, Day 1 has officially ended in Phitsanulok.

Day2, we head to Chiang Mai, and on Day 3, we ride straight back to Bangkok.
I’ll continue sharing how far this little PG-1 can really take us…
