รถคันนี้ Ducati Streetfighter 1098s ปี 2013 แม้สภาพโดยรวมจะวิ่งได้ปกติ ไม่ขึ้น Error Code ใด ๆ และดูเหมือนเคยผ่านการดูแลมาบ้างแล้ว แต่โจทย์ของเราคือ “ทำให้รถคันนี้กลับมาสมบูรณ์ที่สุด…ใกล้เคียงกับตอนเป็นรถใหม่ป้ายแดงให้มากที่สุด”
จุดเริ่มต้นของการบูรณะ
เราเริ่มด้วย Desmo Service ชุดใหญ่:
• เปลี่ยนสายพานใหม่
• ตั้งวาล์วใหม่ทั้งหมด
• รีเซ็ตจังหวะ Timing เพราะรถคันนี้มีการตั้ง Timing ผิดตำแหน่งเล็กน้อย รวมถึงความตึงของสายพานที่ไม่เหมาะสม
เครื่องยนต์ & ระบบจ่ายเชื้อเพลิง
• ล้างและโอเวอร์ฮอล์หัวฉีด เพราะเริ่มมีอาการฉีดเป็นหยด ไม่เป็นฝอย ทำให้รอบเดินเบาไม่นิ่ง
• เปลี่ยน กรองอากาศเป็น Sprint Filter แบบเดียวกับที่ใช้ในรถแข่ง MotoGP และซีรีส์พิเศษของ Ducati อย่าง Superleggera
ระบบคันเร่ง & คลัตช์
• เปลี่ยน สายคันเร่งใหม่ เพราะสายเดิมถูกกดทับจากการวางตำแหน่งผิดตอนถอดถังน้ำมัน
• เปลี่ยน แผ่นคลัตช์แห้ง ใหม่ เพื่อให้ฟีลลิ่งการส่งกำลังกลับมาคมชัดดังเดิม
ช่วงล่าง
• โอเวอร์ฮอล์โช้คหน้า-หลัง แบบละเอียด:
• โช้คหน้า Ohlins ยังมีน้ำมันโช้คสีดีอยู่ แต่ค่าหนืดไม่เหมาะสม
• โช้คหลังโอเวอร์ฮอล์ การตอบสนองดีขึ้นชัดเจน
• เปลี่ยนยางเป็น Bridgestone S23 เพิ่มการยึดเกาะและฟีลลิ่งการควบคุมให้มั่นใจยิ่งขึ้น
• ทำความสะอาดชุดดุมหลังอย่างละเอียด พร้อมตรวจสอบระบบโดยรอบให้ตรงตามมาตรฐานโรงงาน
ผลลัพธ์ที่ได้
จากรถที่ “พอขี่ได้” กลายเป็นรถที่ “ขี่ดีและขี่ง่าย” อย่างเห็นได้ชัด:
• อัตราเร่งสมูทขึ้นทั้งช่วงต้นและปลาย
• ช่วงล่างดูดซับแรงสั่นสะเทือนได้ดีขึ้น หยุดการเต้นของสปริงค์ได้ดี ไม่เต้น ไม่ดิ้น
• ค่าพารามิเตอร์ต่าง ๆ ของเครื่องยนต์กลับเข้าสู่ค่ามาตรฐาน
• ฟีลลิ่งการขับขี่กลับมาเต็มร้อย ใกล้เคียงวันที่รถยังอยู่บนโชว์รูม
แม้เลขไมล์จะผ่านไปกว่า 3x,xxx กม. แต่วันนี้ Streetfighter 1098s คันนี้กลับมา “ฟิต” และ “ดุดัน” ตามคาแรกเตอร์ของ Ducati ยุคทองได้อย่างแท้จริง

Ducati Streetfighter 1098s — Restoring Perfection: From Rideable to Remarkable
This Ducati Streetfighter 1098s (2013) may have been in running condition with no error codes and signs of prior maintenance, but our mission was clear:
"Restore it to as close to factory-new condition as possible."
The Restoration Begins
We kicked things off with a full Desmo Service:
• Replaced timing belts
• Complete valve adjustment
• Reset engine timing — the bike had slightly incorrect timing and improper belt tension
Engine & Fuel System
• Cleaned and overhauled the injectors — they were dripping instead of spraying, causing an unstable idle
• Upgraded the air filter to a Sprint Filter, the same type used in MotoGP and Ducati’s Superleggera series
Throttle & Clutch System
• Replaced the throttle cable — the original was pinched due to improper tank removal
• Installed new dry clutch plates to restore crisp and precise power delivery
 Suspension
• Complete overhaul of both front and rear suspension
• Front Ohlins forks still had clean fluid but lacked proper damping characteristics
• Rear shock overhaul resulted in noticeably improved response
• Fitted Bridgestone S23 tires for superior grip and rider confidence
• Deep-cleaned the rear hub assembly and inspected surrounding components to factory spec
The Result
This transformation took the bike from simply rideable to refined and exhilarating:
• Noticeably smoother acceleration across the rev range
• Suspension absorbs vibrations effectively — stable, no more spring bounce
• Engine parameters restored to factory standards
• Overall riding feel is now close to showroom condition
With over 30,000 km on the clock, this Streetfighter 1098s is now back to being tight, aggressive, and true to the golden-era Ducati character.
